PowerTALK Home:

PowerTALK is a family of products that enable engineers and process controllers to centralise the monitoring and management of proprietary industrial equipment.

COCOON has recognised that there is semi-intelligent legacy industrial equipment in production today that is robust, reliable and relatively inexpensive. When such equipment has limited on-board ability for connectivity with serial based (albeit proprietary) management systems, COCOON has a product suite that can be used to integrate such systems onto TCP/IP based networks for remote management.

Building on our experience with HarTALK, the PowerTALK product suite provides the intelligence needed to connect such equipment with modern, standard It networks, enabling central control and management of the device.

The PowerTALK suite conforms to industry standards:

  • Layer 3+ Protocols: TCP/IP
  • Topologies: 10BaseT Ethernet as default (other topologies also available)
  • Serial Protocols: RS-232, RS-485
  • No restriction to higher level protocol pass-through

Currently available systems include the following:

Currently such systems are only assembled on a per-project basis, and not available "off the shelf." You will therefore not find them on the list of products that can be ordered directly off this website at this moment, for they are only assembled as a batch after and order has been received.
